• 1984: Worked with farmers growing tobacco under Sprinkler Irrigation System in Kangimi Kaduna State as an Advisory Student Engineer with Nigerian Tobacco Company (NTC), Zaria, in his Students Industrial Work Experience Programme (SIWEP II) of ABU, Zaria. 1985: Worked with farmers growing wheat and vegetables under Gravity Irrigation System as Advisory Student Irrigation Engineer with Kano River Irrigation Project (KRIP) in Kadawa Sector during my (SIWEP III) of ABU, Zaria. 1987: Taught Irrigation Engineering, Soil & Water Conservation and Agricultural Mechanization to OND and HND students at Niger State College of Agriculture, Mokwa as a University Graduate during my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program. 1988: Worked with 'Fadama' irrigation farmers who employ drilled wells technology (tubewells/washbores) in former Kano State (now Jigawa and Kano States) as an Irrigation Engineer working with KNARDA a World Bank assisted Agric. Development program. 1989-2004: These include carrying out Research studies, development/production of extension support materials, provision of support services, capacity building of field extension staff and managers, farmers, etc nationwide, 1989-Date: Lecturing and supervision of students (undergraduates and post-graduates) in Agricultural Engineering Department of ABU, Zaria 2004-Date: Overall supervision, coordination and provision of administrative and academic leadership in the running of NAERLS (HQ and 5 Zonal Offices).
