Ispecially welcome you to my official website. At this site you will find information about me and my professional and academic work of many years, with the hope that, in the end, the information found is used to enrich the knowledge base and work performance of humanity. The website was borne out of my earnest yearning to be a part of the global change brought about by ICTs, through the borderless access to the information superhighway. Moreover, I prepared the website in response to requests for information on my research works and publications. Therefore, the information provided here includes a wide-range of my papers, research and projects, undertaken in and outside Nigeria and sponsored by national and international bodies, such as the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Federal Ministry of Water Resources, the World Bank, CTA, FAO, CIRAD, CEMAGREF, DFID, UNDP, etc. This being the case, my vision and mission statements are:

Vision Statement: To consistently seek and work towards achieving overall human and societal change and development through rigorous academic research, technological innovations, agricultural activities, rural household/community empowerment, and sundry development policy initiatives. The achievement of this overall vision is to begin within my immediate environment, the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, an academic community which has characteristically become an integral part of my academic pursuit and career development till date.

Mission Statement: To inspire and enrich the lives of scholars, extension agents/ agencies, the youth, farmers and other stakeholders in agriculture, especially in the developing countries, through the provision of accurate and up-to-date information on my work of many years in academic, engineering and rural development fields.
